Humminbird vs lowrance - hookjaw2009 - 11-28-2019 Looking to upgrade the fish finder, currently have the HDS 7. Anyone have experience with the helix 10mega G2N? Good or bad. Or the lowrance elite. I love the minn kota elect trolling motor with a link to a humminbird fishfinder. You can set a straight course, create tracks to follow, or (my favorite) lock on a contour depth and the Humminbird will steer the boat along that contour line for as long as you want. My boat came with a Lowrance Hook2 sonar, but I prefer the imagining on the Humminbird. Just my preference. In general, you get what you pay for, and getting the latest and greatest on a large screen can be spendy. But for me, a good sonar is part of the fun of fishing. [signature] |
