I am looking for a good fly fishing starter kit to fly fish for panfish , bass, and brook trout. What length rod and what wt. should I get?

what type of waters will you be fishing and what size fish do you expect to be hooking into??
..the reason I ask is that deals on the fly has a nice 3/4 outfit (rod, reel, backing, line, leader) that would be a good starter combo escpecially for streams where cover may be a little tighter.. should also be able to use it on small lakes/ponds without a problem...
