Mule deer in 23 - orvy - 09-09-2012
Hi,
I have a friend that wants me to go with him on a Mule Deer hunt in unit 23 up near New Meadows. Wondering if there are wolves in the area and if so how have they affected the deer. I've never been there and would be spending quite a bit of money to get there for the hunt, in addition to the NR tag fees. Thanks.

There are wolves near McCall and new Meadows but the deer haven't been affected like the elk and moose have. You should still Beale to find some mulies
