Not by the wing barrel that's just where they put it because most people drive by it to leave the Tex creek area. I would always find them in larger pockets of aspens in higher country this time of year. Poison creek by the blackfoot red. Has always had a good amount of birds around it.

Ya That barrel does not mean grouse! That is just a good location to collect. They are still high wait for snow fall for them to be lower.

Are you looking for sharptail or forest grouse? I've had better luck on sharpies the other side of St. Anthoney
