Flaming gorge contests question.

Usually in recent years I have attended either the Burbot Bash or the Burbot Classic, which is usually 2 weeks after the Bash. Has anyone heard if the Burbot Classic is being held this year out of Buckboard Marina? I have searched online at places such as the Green River Chamber of Commerce but couldn’t find any info.

I just got off the phone with Buckboard Marina and they informed me that they were NOT doing the "Classic" this year.

People can still choose to go catch them regardless if there is a contest or not, but I suppose some feel they need a reward or prize for catching an unlimited supply of free fish....
