Sage Approach 6 wt. and a Lamson Konica reel...wanted a 6 wt. for the 20 + mph winds I sometimes fish, and for some of the bass flies I throw at the Gorge.

I'm trying to go a couple of times this weekend. I'll let you know. So far it is a very smooth reel with good vertical drop for very light baits. Fuzzyfisher and I were just talking last Sunday about what sweet reels they looked like. Neither of us brave enough to fork out that much dough!

I guess for a "Ice Fishing" reel it is a bit pricey. But as a fly fisher it is a great price...LOL Still awesome looking.

Remo, on the fly they will still be C&R, but with the bow...no survivors..LOL Let me know what you think of that new Sage.
