Had the lake to myself for a couple hours before two other groups showed up. fished in about 40 ft.  Nonstop tapping from 3-5 inch perch.  It was challenging to get the hooks in them.  Had a paddle bug up top and caught two planter bows.  I hooked one of the perch on a single hook with split shot above and sunk it down 8 feet.  The bow swallowed the whole thing , had to cut the line to release it, 22" too big for the pan, I kept the planters.  The brown was 21 and came pretty close to spooling me, it gave me buck fever reeling it in.  I fish Echo about once a year so wasn't expecting much but turned out to be an exciting day on the ice!  ![[Image: IMG-3402.jpg]](https://i.ibb.co/VWbfp0R/IMG-3402.jpg)
