		Hi there maddawg thanks for getting the ball rolling. What part of the country do you hail from? Fly hatches vary depending on which part of the counrty one lives.

		Show's you how sheltered I am in my fishing adventures.  I was under the impression that the Salmon fly hatches were primarly in the west, so I was hoping everyone key in there.  However, I am from Utah, but it is worth the trip to montana for that hatch

		No the ooops is my line. Got so hung up on the salmon itself. You are talking about those little creatures that start hatching on the Yakima River during May.
