We used to play whiffle ball back when I was a Kid. 30-35 years ago. If the pitcher could throw a big hook or make the ball drop steeply hitting the ball was really hard to do. Was great batting practice made you a better hitter in the long run.
Whate ever happened to Tony C. and Al K. oh yeah they got old and retired. Last time Tigers had a decent team. Well almost There was one in the 70's or 80's. We all remember Denny M. Good Luck and Good Fishing

I have to agree with ya I too like the team of the late 60's.

My dad did some remodeling on Al K's house back when Al was still playing ball. Al had given me a Baseball bat.

Al has been a sports comentater for the Tigers ball club for several years now.

http://myweb.ecomplanet.com/MESS6438/
Lookie See what the kids are up to.
Dave T. Hope you kept that bat in a special place and had Al sign it. Man that would have been one cooooolll gift. And maybe worth a buck or two now. Course you would have to be a real tiger fan. Thats probably like being a cub fan you just keep saying wait till next year. They gotta trade for or pay a free agent pitcher enough to come here and make a differance. Good luck and Good fishing

wished I had.

no he did not autograph it him self it came with a printed auto graph same as the printing on the bat.

thats ok though the memories of all the home runs and ball games played with the nighborhood kids are worth more to me than all the money that a ball bat could bring in an auction.

the bat finaly gave way to a home run smaked on to the windsheld of a passing car which ended our ball playing days in the front yard.
