BUSCH beer's "CATCH BIG JAKE" Fishing promotion
ST. LOUIS (June 23, 2003) - Anheuser-Busch, Inc., today announced the winners of "Catch Big Jake," a national fishing contest sponsored by BUSCH beer and supported by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation. Sixteen consumers each won $1,000 by catching fish that were tagged for the "Catch Big Jake" promotion. (See attached list of winners).
The "Catch Big Jake" contest included 110 individual fish that were "tagged" and placed into 55 different bodies of water. The contest ran May 3 through June 3. A grand prize tag was attached to one fish called "Big Jake." The remaining 109 fish were tagged for secondary prizes of $1,000 each.
"We're thrilled so many consumers each won $1,000 in this summer's 'Catch Big Jake' promotion," said Tom Wilson, brand manager, Busch/Natural Families, Anheuser-Busch, Inc. "
