Strawberry Report

A new fishing buddy and I fished the Strawberry on Saturday. We had a great time. I really appreciate the new slot size regulation. We caught lots of fish (some very nice sized ones) all day long. Most of the fish were caught trolling Carter Spoons, Needle Fish, and other Spoons on leaded line.

Hey Lloyd, trolling fast or slow, how deep of water were you trolling, and how many colors out with the leaded line?

We were trolling between 2 and 3 miles per hour. We were out about six colors of leaded line. We caught fish all the way from the marina to the meadows. We caught most of the fish in the meadows.

Strawberry Marina? I am staying overnight Friday night at the Strawberry Bay Marina Lodge (my first time) with my wife and two of my grandkids. We will be fishing on Saturday.
