Well on of my leaf springs broke yesterday. But on my trailer they are not normal leaf springs. They are open ended at the back end. Basically they bolt to the frame in the front come down to meet the axel and than are open at the rear. Does anyone know where I might find a pair of these or a fix my trailer or am I S.O.L.?

Not sure what ISOL means, but there is a trailer supply store on Redwood and about 3900 S. Something like State trailer supply or State Street trailer. I was in there for work the other day and they really have a lot of stuff like that. I broke a leaf spring last year and I ended up getting one from the trailer manufacturer. I've got a metalcraft trailer and they are built locally. A lot of boat manufacturers ship the boats and then pair them with a local trailer to save on shipping costs. You might look into who the trailer manufacturer is and contact them directly.

They specialize in trailers - they should at least point you in the right direction.

Thx lundman. Just called them and got off the phone. He said that he had not seen anything like it. I think it may be time to start cruising for a used trailer to either part out or a new trailer.

Before I dumped a trailer and bought a new one I think I would buy a generic leaf spring and weld some new brackets up to make them work.

I called them today and they said to bring it over and they would see what they can do for me. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Woo Hoo AAA Springs to the rescue. They are going to be able to build me some springs for about 50-60 bucks for the set.
I am now beginning to understand that the two happiest moments will be the first day I got my boat and the day that I sell it.
