I got up early Easter morning, headed down to the Yantic. Geared up in my waders and a new lure. Water was high and flowing pretty good do to the rain Saturday. To my surprise 2nd cast on my light pole and micro reel I caught my first trout in a stream. Weighed in at 5lbs 10oz. Snapped a few cell phone pics and released. AWESOME!
PS: 5 mins after releasing DEP rolled up and gave me a warning. I was not in a marked trout management area! Bleh it was all worth that catch!
