Hello, Looking to start fishing from NY. did it as a kid with my father but that was years ago. I'm not sure what kind of fishing i would like to do. i see many people do fly fishing in the rivers but not sure if i want that or something else.

Yes there are many different types of fishing and many species to go after. I like any and all fishing. Are you thinking fresh or salt water?
