Yea, the shad minnows are no where that large right now, so I'll have to agree with TD and Skunked, carp minnow. The shad minnows that I'm seeing out there are only 1.5 to 2" max. They are on the small size this year and that could be bad, if we get any early Winter.

I know what I would do with that minnow. I would try to find it's perfect match out of my tackle box, tie it on, and try to get back to the same spot as where you caught the eye and troll it through.
