I am looking into going to a heated dock and was wondering what the best technique in your opinion is for catching them crappies?

Heated dock? I've never heard of a heated dock. Is it enclosed? Why would you need a heated dock in Tx?

I live in ks......it's a place where the water is kept above freezing so people don't have to ice fish in winter
