New reel with penn rod

With a bigger reel like that I would keep it lined with a heavy braided line like 20-50lb and use it for tossing frogs and jigs in thick cover and laydowns. Plus it would be able to be used as a combo for catfish and carp, or even saltwater. This would get you the most out of your new combo
