Fishing around power plant in Long Beach

When i used to shark fish in FL we would use head ropes. You put a loop in a rope around your line in the water and drop the loop over the sharks head and then haul them up over the peir rails. I am talking about a 40 to 60 foot drop from pier to water and large sharks to about 400lbs. It worked for us.
