Wind and Ice
#2
Seems that you could be right, a lot of times when the wind picks up and there is a drop in the temp, there is a storm front moving in and with a front the barometric pressure will change. Not sure if wind by itself, without a change in barometric pressure would cause the fish to stop biting though. Not sure if you ever look at the Solunar Calendar but it has has two periods during a day when the fishing is suppose to be best, usually one time in the morning and one time in the evening, although I don't have a lot of faith in these calendars, for Freshwater fishing at least, I have noticed there are times the catching will just stop, for no apparent reason, somethings they coincide with the calendar but not always.
