		[font "Comic Sans MS"][#800000][size 3]Over the last 10 years, I've owned 2 gas augers, a NILS electric drill model, and now the K-drill.  This will be my 3rd season with the K-drill.  I will never own another fuel powered ice auger.  The NILS was a very good auger and still is.  It will drill a hole faster than my K-drill.  But I doubt anybody can tell me why drilling a hole in 5 seconds has a realistic advantage over drilling one in 8 to 10 seconds.  When did drilling holes in the ice become a contest of speed?  Anybody?  [cool][/size][/#800000][/font]

The blades are sharpened free for life but I have to pay to ship them both ways. It cuts effortlessly through ice with little or no downward pressure needed on the drill. I'll pass on the Nero.[/size][/#800000][/font]
