That sure was one great day! Im pretty sure the fish was only 27" , but like jon said, it seems like once they get to a certain length they start getting broader not longer. We caught 24" fish, which is still pretty big, but they just didn't compare to the 27" fish.
I actually caught the 27" fish using a stop and go retrieve with a Shad Rap if anyone was wandering.
