You are right, I forgot the FL-18 with zoom and I am sure others can do it to. I forgot. I just remember that the FL-8 didn't have that feature(I think)[crazy]. I should be more careful to not disperse bad info.[blush]
I am still just very happy with my Lowrance M68c ice and was kind of in a hurry when I posted my reply.
But i still think the Lowrance sonars deserve hard consideration.
