I've been waiting for a post like this. I've been quite content with a hand auger. I can always use the exercise! [
] But the deep ice at the end of the season, not to mention the Berry, and thoughts of upgrade dance in my head as sugar plums are to children at the advent of Xmas. [cool]
I know of those that have used the same gas auger for more than a decade - but many say theirs conks out in a year or two... [:/] I dunno what makes the difference. So I appreciate all your suggestions and comments.
