I know it's a little late to post but thought I'd throw it out there. My Dad and I both drew out for the Dec 1-14 Cow elk tags by Flaming Gorge. Had a great weekend of hunting, I got one on the opener and my Dad got one two days later. Getting them out was the only not fun part of the hunt. Great time with my Dad up there and am glad for some friends who helped us get into them and the true test, helped pull them out with us. My dad has two fake knees, a fake shoulder and just had a pig valve put in his heart (August this year for the open heart surgery). I'm thankful to still be able to hunt with my Dad and it was awesome when he dropped an old dry cow. I attached a picture of my Dad from my bberry in the field just after he got his cow, my cow was about the same size, just not a dry one unfortunately.
