Ya know, there's a very strange phenomenon that takes form in the "limbo" time of year between soft water and hard deck, I've noticed.
It also happens at the end of the ice season when almost everything is still covered, but with rotten scary ice.
People just end up easily irritated or bored around these times. Arguments flare up all over the boards, people like to troll a little more, maybe toss some practical jokes around...
Very strange.
Personally, I'd be plenty happy to drive all that distance to find open water still at that lake. Kinda makes me want to take that drive. It's almost my birthday...[
