I haven't been in about four years, but the hike is fairly easy. About 3 miles from the end of Upper Setting Road. The steepest part is right after passing East Shingle Creek Lake and going up over the pass into the Weber drainage.
I always packed a tube. Rumours of bigger brook trout kept me going back for a few seasons. I did catch several in the 17" class, but that was tops. A tube is a major asset though.
