Thanks for the advice; I want a 2 or 3 piece for travel purposes, etc. So you feel the Ugly Stik is a better made rod and therefore a better choice? I am a little curious why the Salt Striker is significantly more expensive if it's not as good. Again thanks for any insight you can offer.
