Sunday, Aug 3 Observation
I dont usually get into the whole power squadron vs. not to power squadron because I am part of the power squadron. Love my boat and how fast I can get from one area to another. I try and be as respectful as I can
Anyway, needed to just get out of the house for a minute after spending my weekend staining my deck (should have paid to have it done) and headed out to the north dike at Utah Lake. Watched the water go from glass calm to roller whitecaps as the storm rolled in and saw two boats being towed in. One by a PWC and the other by another recreational boater. Saw a red kayak a drift that was picked up by one boat and followed the owner into the No Wake Zone and tried to make the swap there...poor decision. The very strong wind blew the boat right into the rocks.
I know I have personally saved several marriages helping couples trailer their boats.
