Been wanting to get out all week and so I hit the water at 5:30 this morning with 3 crawlers and day old carp chunks. The cats voted for crawlers. Had 3 on them before a nibble on the carp. One problem though, two were bullheads and one verily broke 4 inches. But the channel was 23" and all spawned out so it was a svelt kitty. When they realized I was out of worm they finally decided to take the cut bait with three pop and drops in a row, then I dialed my hooking technique in and ended up with two more 23" cats and an 18" to finish up at 7:00 so I could get home to work before it gets too hot.
