Great Job Al. I did make a Squirrel trap after getting tired of snapped traps over holes. Took a 4 inch cut off from vinyl 4x4 post. bought a 3 1/2 inch round coni bear with angle bracket. Drilled hole on one side to accept bolt on the end and cut out a groove to accept spring. Attached plumbers hanger to all sides to use to screw into house. Works like a charm. Now my go to trap.
