On a recent fishing trip to Idaho, while I was reeling in a 7 1/2' sturgeon, it jumped just off the bow of my boat.  I was thankful that only its head landed on the bow of the boat instead of the entire fish landing inside of my boat.

I have sent an email to check on the availability of replacement parts.

Not sure what I'm looking at, I assume it's the bow of your boat but can't say i get it, with a pic that close. Glad your boat wasn't damage any more than that.

The bow on my boat is so low that I was getting lots of water over the bow.  I had a company make a custom splash guard for my bow.  This picture should help you see the splash guard and the damage to it.
I'm having a problem trying to upload my photo. I will try again later.

Here is a picture of the splash guard. The angle of the picture makes the splash guard look much larger than it actually is. It is 8" high.

OK, I understand now, just couldn't figure out what that was, I could see it was some sort of plastic but I did not know they made anything like that.

Thanks.  The guy called me, this afternoon, and he will be able to replace my splash guard and the broken bracket.

Too bad about the damage but waaaaay more fun than a rock hitting it going down the highway or something like that. I agree about the good fortune of not having that sturgeon take a seat in the bow of your boat!
