Maybe others have them on their boat but Dubob is the only one I've ever heard mention trim tabs, on his last boat boat, which he sold.

I put on a Dole Fin, on my outboard, and it works wonders in stabilizing my boat. Total cost was $43!

I too also have the trim tabs that came with my boat. I had the Dolphin on an older boat I installed which made it easy for hole shots coming onto plane.

I have a Automatic Trim Control System on my boat and I hate it don't know how to use it. it came with the boat.
