Mike, if you would get your butt out of bed in the morning you could have watched it on the news. Just a thought. My first thought this morning was that isn't Lake Powell already extreemly low on water? What effects will it have there?

i watched a report on the news showing them openin up the 'flood gates'. I was thinkin what the heck are they doin?? draining the lake?? It just doesn't make sense in light of the ongoin drought conditions. Yeah, so we've had a few weeks of great precipitation----so the drought is over?? lol

The water comming out of those tubes was impressive. But I think we will be paying the price for it next year with lower water levels than this year unless we get some monster storms in.
