I've been wanting to make a couple of Ice fishing poles but I can't find anybody that carries Ice rod blanks. Doe anybody know where I can find a good quality rod blank for Ice fishing. Any info would be great thanks Skeeter2

I have had the same question, but what I have found is that most manufacturers don't make a blank specifically for ice fishing. What you need to do is decide what kind of stiffness and tip sensitivity you want and find a one piece blank that is rated a little higher than you want and then cut the length down. This gives you a rod that has the tip sensitivity you want and stiffness close to what you want. Hope this helps.

 Skeeter2,
there is a message board that has a lot of activity on rod building that might be able to answer your question better. Go to www.mudhole.com and click on bulletin board.
