Going for Musky First time

well I am going to be going fishing for Musky today. I am a shore fisherman so I probably will not hit into musky but my gf bought me 2 jitterbugs 1 1/4 ounce. I know they are stocked in the lake but the odds of getting them aren't good from shore. Although neither were the catfish I got this year best being 2 and half feet. I like to fish this place that is like a channel. It is a man made lake so it is not the normal lake. Lake Arthur in PA. I probably do a bit of bass fishing for a bit and see what I can get.

Fish the shallows early, early. Throw out parellel to the bank.Caught big Pike on small 1 1/2'' lure, match bait in waters.

I am not sure what your fish like but i have been doing good with buzzbaits early in the morning close to the bank. Good luck.
