New to las vegas(Henderson

[] Hi I moved to Henderson about end of July 2007
I sure could use help with where and how to fish close to this area (100 mi). I have to fish from shore walk. I do not do rough trial or step climes and need room to cast so I don't fall down. I am 72 and don't want to quit this early.
Paul has been kid enough to provide some good suggestions. general directions will help, I did find cottonwood didn't catch any fish. However it was a very pretty drive.

Hi there dhoneh and welcome to the BFT. You didn't mention as to what kind of fishing is your pleasure. Spin, bait casting or fly fishing. As a senior I prefer fly fishing. Wading is my favorite but for lakes I'll take to my float tube. There are numerous places to fish that is within your 100 mile limit. Let us know your preference and I'm sure someone will find a few places to wet a line.
