Shot a spike with my bow yesterday morning. The last two years in idaho I have shot two spikes with my bow. I think my three year old son (in the picture) think elk only come #11 style.
Heard a lot of bugling which shut off around 10:00

? I too have been hearing some decent elk bugles this year.

Nice! Looks like your getting someone else started out early! He looks like he's ready to go! I'm in the tex creek zone and have had some pretty good action so far also. Haven't gotten one yet, but always into them up there this year. Congratulations again.
