Mantua 2/17

Went there ready to fish, but decided against it. Absolutely no access from normal south entrance, but a few people had walked around east side to knoll and were fishing. Stopped at beach and talked to 3 others thinking about going on. They decideded to follow old snow machine path to get out. I said goodbye and offered them a rope (but they had one). Hope all are safe, even if got wet coming off.

I went up to Mantua today and same as you decided not to try my luck on the ice. Fished the south east side toward the inlet. Caught & released 2 small bows. On my way out seen the ranger parked at the boat dock looked like a guy fell through. There was a small group of people and one guy looked soaked from the waist down.
