I voted for summer equipment, though, it would be used year around, both for fishing and hunting.

My purchase, if my finances miraculously improved, would be a boat. I've had my eye on a Carolina Skiff JVX18SC for quite a while now, at a local boat dealer. It's a left over model with a 75 Yamaha 4 stroke on it. I had it worked out, with the exact electronics package I wanted, and an aluminum trailer, but the deal fell through last minute.

I'm glad it did, because i've recently realized that I couldn't have afforded, and still can't afford, the payment. It's really, as my primary motivation is to get my youngest son on the water. I fish with buddies right now, which is fine for me and my oldest son; but it doesn't work out very well for my 5 year old. [unimpressed]
