Really not a lot to report today. The bite was very tough on us and we struggled all morning to put together a decent limit. We started off the morning throwing top water along grass and both of us put a keeper in the well. I caught mine on a spook and Wiskers caught his on a sammy. We also boated three whites. Moved to some grass and blanked. Moved to some grass again and blanked.emoAngry Grass bite for us was not there. Changed patterns and went deep. Fishing drops and edges I boat two nice keepers and wiskers boated two nice.....ah.....cats.emoZipped Moved around some more and I boated two more nice bass and wiskers boated another cat and a couple stripe.emoDoh I culled wisker's only one keeper bass with the last one I caught.emoEvil We moved around a couple more times and hit a couple more places including some docks and some more drops. Wiskers finally boated two more bass but both were slicks.emoRolleyes Would of been nice to have some help today but at least he had some practice with the aluminum handle. He does not get to use that much.
We had some good laughs and as always we ragged each other heavy. He was due after he ragged me so badly at the Nick. My five keepers came in at 13.46 lbs and was good enough to take second. Scott Rogers spanked us all today with 19.20 with his five and he big one took big bass at 6.89 lbs.emoThumbsup

Congrats to the other money winners and thanks to those who brought a toy for the "Forgotten Children's Fund". emoAngel Jmax

Â
