Current Creek reservoiri

Anyone been to current creek recently? I am thinking about taking some scouts up there Saturday morning early.

I've been there the last two Saturday's. Ice is plenty safe probably 10 or so inches. Bite was just ok for us. Caught a few throughout the day. Most were caught on ratfinkies tiped with minnow. It was real windy this last Saturday.

Thanks WardDL. Has it been crowded? Current Creek is not very big so I am wondering if I should take a snowmobile to get them away from the crowds? Most of these young men have not caught fish before, so I want them to be able to keep a couple for dinner. The fishing can be fast and furious at Strawberry at times, but you don't keep many and the hoards on weekends can be a little overwhelming.
