Cannon down rigger repair

I thought I remember seeing a post on the site addressing downrigger repair a few months back. I have a Cannon mini mag that could use some work, can anyone help me out with any info on this? thanks.

Come on Rich, you can work on them, according to what Bob said on that thread, you can be a certified repairman for Mini Kota for only $6000[]. A lot easier than turning wrenches. From what I saw when I tore my Mini Kota apart its just a matter of changing parts to get one running again, pretty simple systems.

LOL, try that Go Fund Me web site, people use it all the time to raise money. For that matter I bet you could use it for raising money for your Rec property above Heber, just tell all those that contribute that they can use the property for getting out of the heat at the lower elevations and your in like gold.[]
